Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actor best known for the role of Missandei in HBO's epic fantasy "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Emmanuel was raised in Southend-on-the-Sea an area of Essex and was attracted to performing arts since the age of three. Nathalie began taking singing, acting, and dancing lessons at 3 years of age. Parents were instantly delighted. Emmanuel was a skilled performer, and she developed quickly. By the end of the 90s she was a an infant Nala in "The Lion King,"" the West End musical that has been acclaimed. As she grew into an teen, Emmanuel began auditioning for parts in television and movies. She was able to land her first big role, when she portrayed Sasha Valentine in the British soap show Hollyoaks (Channel 4 from 1995 to). Emmanuel was in the role for four seasons and then left the series in 2010. Emmanuel received her second break just three years later and was cast in the role of Missandei on HBO's Game of Thrones. She as Daenerys's interpreter (played by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel appeared in every season of "Game of Thrones" up until the series' May 2019 conclusion.
