Agnetha Faltskog
Although she has made an impact as an individual artist within Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will always be best known as one of the members of 'ABBA' as one of the biggest popular and commercially profitable pop bands ever. She quit school to pursue music at 15, and was soon gaining an audience. Enghardt secured her a contract with a record contract, and soon she was at the highest spot on Sweden's charts, when she released her first single. Bjornulvaeus later got married to she became her spouse and she was a part of ABBA. ABBA went on to become one of the biggest music groups around the globe during the subsequent 8 years. They received numerous awards, including gold and platinum, all over the world. Following ABBA they released three albums - 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me', Eyes of a Woman' as well as I Stand Alone'. They were all hugely popular in Sweden. They were also popular across Europe. But, they were not a major hit in America. In the '80s, ABBA's music was the topic of a musical jukebox called 'Mamma Mia!'. They came out of retirement to make 'My Color Book' that reached eleven for the U.K. charts. The latest album "A" has received positive reviews.
